Cafe Style Shutters
Privacy over light reduction
Cafe Style Shutters are created using lightweight hardwood, such as Hybra wood, Basswood, Ashwood, Waterproof wood, and premium hardwood, such as Paulownia wood.
The chic-continental style of the cafe shutters is given by covering only the bottom half of the window, or 2/3 of the entire height of the window, adding a combination of privacy and light to the room.
Depending on your requirements, we can create cafe-style shutters made from essential Hybra wood, consisting of Paulownia wood with ultra-durable aluminium core, PVC, 100% natural hardwood, or waterproof shutters with an aluminium core that suits more wet rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.
If you wish to use our cafe style shutters in a bedroom or lounge, an additional window covering will be required for the top part to darken the room and offer complete privacy.
We offer a wide selection of paints, stains and limewash finish you can choose from.
Our café-style shutters’ light control option can be managed by choosing from our various options of tilt roads, such as the central front, the offset, the Clearview or the hidden title road.
